ITAM ITSM Process Manager
ITSM Process Managers design, own, and continuously improve IT Service Management processes to ensure reliable, efficient, and high‑quality service delivery across Stena Group IT, aligned with business needs, industry best practices, and governance requirements.
We offer
As IT Asset Management (ITAM) ITSM Process Owner, you will take end‑to‑end ownership of IT Asset Management across hardware, software and cloud within Stena Group IT.
You will define, implement and govern a unified ITAM operating model aligned with ITIL and ISO standards, ensuring effective lifecycle management and compliance across the organisation. Your focus will be to establish clear processes, ownership, and data foundations that enable reliable asset visibility, control, and decision‑making.
You will design and continuously improve ITAM practices covering the full asset lifecycle – from planning and acquisition through deployment, management and disposal – ensuring that processes are efficient, standardised and auditable.
Working closely with ServiceNow platform teams, finance, procurement, security and service owners, you will ensure that ITAM is integrated with core ITSM processes, CMDB, and financial systems, enabling automation, transparency and accurate reporting across the asset lifecycle.
You will establish governance structures, metrics and controls needed to drive compliance, risk management and cost optimisation, while embedding a culture of continual improvement and accountability across the organisation.
You will operate with a high degree of ownership and influence, supported by the Service Management Office and key stakeholders, to drive standardisation and maturity of IT Asset Management across multiple business units.
About You
You bring 5+ years of experience in IT Service Management, including hands‑on responsibility for designing, implementing, and operating processes in complex environments. You have practical experience in IT Asset Management (covering hardware, software, and cloud) or closely related practices such as Configuration or Software Asset Management.
You are confident taking full ownership of a process end‑to‑end – from defining the operating model and implementing workflows to running governance, maintaining performance, and driving continuous improvement in a live (BAU) environment.
You have a solid understanding of ITAM lifecycle management and its integration with core ITSM practices, including Request, Change, Configuration (CMDB), and Financial/Procurement processes. You are comfortable working with platforms such as ServiceNow, Flexera (SNOW/Atlas/One), or similar and understand how tooling, data, and process must align to deliver reliable outcomes.
You are experienced in establishing governance frameworks, defining KPIs, and using data to control performance, ensure compliance, and identify optimisation opportunities (cost, licensing, risk, lifecycle efficiency). Practical application of ITIL and familiarity with ISO-aligned practices (e.g. ISO 19770, ISO 27001) is expected.
You combine strong analytical thinking with a pragmatic, implementation‑focused mindset. You can naturally translate business, technical, and regulatory requirements into clear, workable process designs and ensure they are adopted and sustained.
You communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior stakeholders, and are comfortable leading workshops, driving alignment, and embedding new ways of working across multiple teams and organisational units.
You are structured, accountable and improvement‑driven, with the ability to balance strategic development with day‑to‑day operational ownership of the process.
