Iteration Manager – Agile Delivery

Are you an experienced Iteration Manager or Agile Delivery Lead who thrives on bringing teams together, driving delivery outcomes and embedding Agile ways of working?

We are seeking an experienced Iteration Manager to lead and facilitate Agile delivery across a complex ICT transformation program. This is an opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, drive delivery priorities and ensure successful outcomes through effective Agile practices.

You will play a key role in guiding teams, managing dependencies, removing delivery impediments and fostering a high-performing environment focused on continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Guide one or more cross-functional teams in applying Agile principles and practices to achieve program objectives.
• Develop and maintain delivery plans, ensuring alignment with project milestones and strategic outcomes.
• Work closely with Product Owners to manage backlog refinement, prioritise user stories and define acceptance criteria.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies and delivery impediments.
• Monitor team performance, track delivery progress and provide transparent reporting to stakeholders.
• Coordinate resources and team capacity to ensure delivery commitments are achievable.
• Engage with stakeholders across business and technology teams to maintain alignment and drive outcomes.
• Promote continuous improvement, collaboration and a high-performing Agile culture.
• Ensure appropriate delivery documentation, governance and assurance requirements are maintained.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Iteration Manager, Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams within large-scale ICT transformation programs.
• Strong practical knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience managing product backlogs, user stories, sprint planning and delivery prioritisation.
• Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies, competing priorities and delivery challenges.
• Experience using Agile delivery tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence across business and technical teams.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching capabilities, with a focus on building collaborative, high-performing teams.

Highly Desirable

• SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP or Certified Scrum Professional certification.
• Experience working within large government or enterprise ICT transformation programs.
• Experience coordinating delivery across multiple projects or workstreams.
• Understanding of ICT investment governance, assurance and reporting requirements.
