ITSPEC (INFOSEC)

This position is located in the in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Financial Management Systems (OFMS). Join the OCFO/OFMS staff to become a recognized technical information technology (IT) expert in evaluating available tools, methodologies, and processes for feasibility in improving the OFMS effectiveness and efficiency in meeting the requirements, functions, and services of its automated financial systems.

The physical worksite for this position is located in Alexandria, Virginia. Presence at the Alexandria, VA campus is required for this role, as it includes on site functions that must be performed in person. Position may be eligible for situational telework in accordance with agency policy/business unit discretion. The agency currently allows for 52 hours of telework per calendar year. You are committed to leading teams on projects related to the design, development, modification, testing, installation, implementation, and support of new and existing automated financial and planning / budgeting systems You are skilled in ensuring enforcement of IT security policies, principles, and practices for all production systems; Participates in activities related to the Certification and Accreditation process as well as the Annual Security Assessment. You enjoy defining project/task requirements through appropriate planning, implementations, reporting on, and evaluating projects and tasks.
