IV Therapy RN
The Infusion Nurse delivers safe and effective infusion therapies in the hospital setting, including the administration of medications, fluids, and blood products. This role is responsible for clinical assessment, IV access, patient monitoring, and education, while ensuring compliance with physician orders and regulatory standards. The nurse supports patient comfort, safety, and positive experience throughout the infusion process.
-Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) required
-Current RN license in Wyoming
-BLS and ACLS certification required; Chemotherapy certification may be required for oncology infusions
-Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience, preferably with IV therapy or infusion services
-Demonstrates proficiency with IV access, infusion pumps, medication safety, and patient assessment
