Jan/San Equipment Service Technician
If you do not have any service repair experience this job is not for you, we are seeking someone who has some electrical, plumbing and/or mechanical inclination. Someone who has worked on commercial appliances, commercial floor cleaners or commercial vacuums. Equipment that falls in line with Janitorial or Sanitation.
TSRC, Inc. is looking for a full-time Janitorial/Sanitation Service Technician to take care of our customers’ needs in a positive, friendly, professional manner; keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior. Willingness to learn products, equipment, services, etc. is imperative. The Jan-San Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and trouble shooting janitorial and sanitation equipment for commercial, industrial and institutional customers. This position also provides training on the proper use and maintaining of the cleaning equipment and chemical dispensing systems while delivering exceptional customer service.
POSITION EXPECTATIONS
Under direction of the Jan/San Service Supervisor, the Service Technician will
- Effectively troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical & electrical systems for various types of commercial janitorial and laundry equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment in local Service Shop and at customers' locations.
- Provide technical training/assistance to customers in person and over the phone.
- Consistently deliver excellent service and extreme customer satisfaction in all areas.
- Assist in upkeep of the Service Shop including cleanup of the service area, parts ordering/restocking, and other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
The incumbent will be given on the job training which includes basic troubleshooting and repair techniques for our line of commercial janitorial and laundry equipment. A company vehicle will be supplied only for the purposes of conducting on-site service calls at customers’ locations as scheduled by the Service Supervisor.
