Janitor (35399)

Job Summary: The majority of janitorial tasks include sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming rugs and cushions, sanitizing restrooms, break rooms and removing garbage and washing windows and glass and other duties as assigned.

General Duties & Responsibilities

• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, and other work areas.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, vacuums and polishes floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets in break rooms, restrooms and offices.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Replenishes GMP supplies to both break rooms.
• Order supplies for supervisors.

Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
