Janitorial Associate

Position Summary and Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for keeping the facility well maintained, clean and stocked with supplies.

Stock all break room areas with supplies
Ensure break rooms are clean and sanitary
Empty trash receptacles and insert new liners
Sweep porches, steps and sidewalks and wipe down glass on entry doors
Clean and maintain restrooms ensuring sinks are wiped down and paper products are stocked
Maintain good eye for detail, report problems with building to supervisor
Use vacuum to clean all carpet and carpet mats
Clean coffee pots in breakroom and office
Disinfect and wipe down surfaces such as desks, tables, doorknobs, and office tools
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies
Perform other duties as assigned

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Professional, organized and fast worker
Detail oriented
Strong work ethic, and positive approach to job
Work well independently
Ability to follow verbal and written directives
Communicate effectively with coworkers and executive staff
High School Diploma or GED preferred

Physical Requirements:

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
