Japanese Fine Dining / Omakase Executive Chef

Their goal is to create exceptional culinary moments by combining traditional Japanese techniques with innovative, high-quality ingredients. We seek an Executive Chef who can lead our kitchen team and elevate our dining experience to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the culinary team in delivering high-end omakase and Japanese fine dining experiences.
• Develop, design, and execute innovative, seasonal omakase menus that stay true to authentic Japanese cuisine while introducing creative elements.
• Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and service excellence.
• Source premium ingredients and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Supervise all kitchen operations, including team management, food preparation, portioning, and hygiene standards.
• Manage kitchen budgets, food costs, and inventory control.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring the team maintains a high level of craftsmanship and professionalism.
• Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate them into menu development.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef in Japanese fine dining or omakase restaurants.
• Extensive knowledge of traditional Japanese cuisine, techniques, and presentation.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to create unique and visually stunning omakase menus.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• A passion for Japanese culture and culinary traditions.
• Fluency in Japanese is a plus, but not required.
