TO QUALIFY:
- Must be able to communicate effectively, verbal and written, in both English and Japanese - Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji
- Familiar with MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Willing to work on Holidays, Weekends, Shifting Schedules and extended working hours
- Willing to learn and work in an IT environment
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Translation tasks (e.g. e-mails, tickets, error information) from English to Japanese and vice versa
- May require interpretation service during conferences or meetings with counterparts, clients, and vendors
- Initiate and implement Quality Assurance and process improvement activities
- Assist in the development of bilinguals by conducting brownbag or training
- Ability and interest to learn business, tools and technical terminologies
- Ability to use and contribute in strengthening translation tools to increase productivity
- Works with teams and diverse range of people
NICE TO HAVE:
- JLPT passer: N3 Level or higher
- TOEIC score: 600 or higher
