Java AI Developer

About the role

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Develop and integrate AI-powered capabilities into enterprise applications through APIs and backend services. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for application integration.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot

• Develop and integrate AI-powered capabilities into enterprise applications through APIs and backend services

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for application integration

• Collaborate with AI Engineers, Backend Developers, and System Analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Support integration with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI services, or intelligent automation platforms

• Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and security

• Perform debugging, code review, unit testing, and production issue resolution

• Maintain technical documentation and participate in Agile development activities

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Java Backend Development (preferred)

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices

• Experience integrating third-party APIs or external services into backend applications

• Understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL

• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD processes

• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts, Generative AI, or LLM-based applications

• Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and secure coding practices

• Experience with Spring AI, LangChain4j, or similar Java AI frameworks (nice to have)

• Experience implementing RAG, vector databases, AI agents, or LLM APIs (nice to have)
