Java AI Developer
Summary
Backend developer who designs, builds, and maintains Java/Spring Boot applications, REST APIs, and microservices, and integrates AI capabilities (LLMs, AI services, generative AI) into enterprise applications. Requires 3+ years of Java backend experience plus relational database, Git, and CI/CD familiarity.
Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Develop and integrate AI-powered capabilities into enterprise applications through APIs and backend services. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for application integration.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
Develop and integrate AI-powered capabilities into enterprise applications through APIs and backend services
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for application integration
Collaborate with AI Engineers, Backend Developers, and System Analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Support integration with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI services, or intelligent automation platforms
Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and security
Perform debugging, code review, unit testing, and production issue resolution
Maintain technical documentation and participate in Agile development activities
About you
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in Java Backend Development (preferred)
Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices
Experience integrating third-party APIs or external services into backend applications
Understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL
Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD processes
Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts, Generative AI, or LLM-based applications
Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and secure coding practices
Experience with Spring AI, LangChain4j, or similar Java AI frameworks (nice to have)
Experience implementing RAG, vector databases, AI agents, or LLM APIs (nice to have)
