Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and SQL databases.

The candidate will be responsible for developing robust backend services, integrating enterprise applications, optimizing application performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable and secure RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop business logic using Core Java, OOP principles, Collections, Streams, and multithreading.
• Implement database integration using Spring Data JPA and Hibernate.
• Design, write, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.
• Implement application security using Spring Security, JWT, and OAuth 2.0.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues.
• Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.
• Use Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines for development and deployment.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and mentor junior developers when required.

Required Technical Skills

• Programming: Java 8/11/17 or later, Core Java, OOP, Collections, Streams, Multithreading.
• Frameworks: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Framework, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate.
• Backend Development: REST APIs, Microservices, API integration, JSON.
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar relational databases.
• Security: Spring Security, JWT, OAuth 2.0.
• Build Tools: Maven or Gradle.
• Testing: JUnit, Mockito, unit testing, integration testing.
• Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Methodologies: Agile/Scrum, SDLC, code reviews, debugging, and production support.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Jenkins or GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Redis, caching, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and system design.
• Experience with application monitoring, logging, and performance tuning.
