Job Title - Java Backend Developer

Primary responsibilities:

- Work with stakeholders to align on solution design

- Analyze solution alternatives to meet project objective

- Design and develop utilities and interfaces to enhance business workflow

- Guide the team during development activities

- Continually seeking methods to improve the application and according development processes

- Ensure industry standard best practices are followed during development lifecycle.

- Identifying & analyzing problems and define structural solutions for the application and its integrations

- Create technical designs for project changes and new functionality

Job qualifications

- Degree in Computer Science and relevant work experience of 7+years or more

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and logical thinking skills

- Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written

- Proficient in Java programming.

- Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate or JavaServer Faces (JSF)

- Experience with REST APIs and web services

- Experience in working with microservice architecture

- Experience in working with deployment servers preferably WAS Liberty or Apache Tomcat

- Knowledge of databases (preferably Oracle) and SQL

- Experience with working on design patterns is a plus

- Experience in developing OSLC based applications and interfaces with IBM applications is a plus

- IBM ELM application knowledge (EWM, ETM, ERM, etc.) is a plus
