Java Backend Developer

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with 6–8 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining enterprise Java applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java and Spring Framework, with solid experience in API development and backend application design.

Experience with MariaDB and MongoDB will be an added advantage. Knowledge of Apache Kafka and familiarity with CI/CD processes will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Framework.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services for enterprise applications.
• Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into robust backend solutions.
• Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure application components.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including MariaDB and MongoDB.
• Participate in application integration and troubleshoot backend and API-related issues.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–8 years of professional experience in Java application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Framework.
• Good experience in backend application development and service-oriented architecture.
• Strong experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of database concepts and SQL.
• Experience with MariaDB is preferred.
• Experience with MongoDB is desirable.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka or event-driven architecture will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of CI/CD processes and software development lifecycle.
• Experience working with version control systems such as Git.
