Summary
TCS is hiring a Java Backend Developer with 5–12 years' experience to work on a banking client project across Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, and Indore. Day to day: design, build, and test Java 17/Spring Boot microservices using NoSQL stores (Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra), Kafka, and CI/CD tooling like Jenkins and Kubernetes.

Required :
Design, develop/build & Test application code components. Follow Agile practices & Bank’s coding/testing policies
Participate in Solution Design
Perform unit testing using JUnit, build functional test scripts & automate using Selenium
Debugging/defect resolution
Set-up CI/CD environment & implement/use DevOps tools for automated build, test & release
Provide insights and recommendations from past experience
Feedback incorporation as per Agile principle via Show and Tell
Development will meet 90% JUnit test coverage at the API level
