Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong development and implementation skills in Java/J2EE. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of distributed architecture, backend systems, API integration, web services, and Oracle databases. The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing backend solutions while collaborating with multiple teams to ensure seamless system integration and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain backend applications using Java/J2EE technologies.

• Work with distributed architecture and integrate internal and external servers, applications, and third-party systems.

• Develop and maintain web services, APIs, and interfaces to support self-service call flows.

• Apply integration patterns and understand API authentication mechanisms to ensure secure and reliable communication between systems.

• Work with Oracle databases to support backend application development and data-related operations.

• Use Git and Azure DevOps (Azure ADO) for source code management, version control, and team collaboration.

• Prepare and execute system test cases and perform unit testing to ensure application quality and reliability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, technical defects, and application bugs in collaboration with multiple teams.

• Participate in implementation activities, technical discussions, and coordination with third-party application teams.

• Maintain clear source code documentation, including code comments and development best practices.

• Ensure timely delivery of assigned development tasks with appropriate unit testing and documentation.

• Collaborate with development, testing, and integration teams to support successful implementation.

Mandatory Skills and Requirements

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.

• Strong backend development and implementation skills.

• Good understanding of distributed architecture and system integration.

• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database.

• Experience with APIs, web services, and backend interfaces.

• Understanding of API authentication mechanisms and integration patterns.

• Working knowledge of Git and Azure DevOps (Azure ADO).

• Experience in unit testing, system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and learn new technologies quickly.
