Java Backend Developer
Summary
Designs, develops, and maintains Java microservices and high-performance reactive applications using Spring Boot and Spring WebFlux, building REST APIs, running CI/CD pipelines, and deploying with Docker and Kubernetes across SQL/NoSQL databases. Cloud platforms, Kafka, and fintech domain experience are nice to have.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
Build high-performance reactive applications using Spring WebFlux.
Develop and consume RESTful APIs following best practices.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
Deploy and support applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Design and optimize data models across SQL and NoSQL databases.
Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and production issues.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.

Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
JUnit/Mockito-based testing
Observability and monitoring tools
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
4–6 years of software development experience with a strong backend development focus.
Preferred Domain Experience: Banking, Financial Services, Payments, FinTech, or other large-scale enterprise environments.
