We're hiring hands-on Java Backend Engineers across Senior and Lead levels to work on a mission-critical application modernization initiative.
The project involves transforming complex legacy enterprise capabilities into scalable, resilient and supportable Java services, offering an opportunity to work on modern backend architecture, development, performance engineering and cloud-native technologies.
What we're looking for
For 5–9 Years:
- Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and Java 8+
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs
- Hands-on experience with Microservices
- Strong SQL and database knowledge
- Experience with JUnit / Mockito and automated testing
- Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD
- Good debugging and production issue-resolution skills
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes or cloud is an advantage
For 10–15 Years / Lead-level:
- Strong expertise in Core Java and Java 8–17
- Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, Spring JDBC and Spring AOP
- Strong understanding of Multithreading, Concurrency, JVM internals and reactive programming
- Hands-on experience with Microservices, REST APIs and enterprise integration
- Strong SQL and database performance tuning experience
- Experience troubleshooting JVM, API and application performance issues
- Strong technical leadership, architecture, code review and mentoring experience
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud and observability tools
Good to Have
- Banking / Financial Services experience
- Legacy / mission-critical application modernization
- Investment Operations / Accounting / Reconciliation / Asset Servicing experience
- AS400 / IBM i / DB2
- Azure / AWS
- Dynatrace / Splunk / Grafana / Prometheus
- Production support and incident management experience
