Position: Java Backend with Spring Batch

Location: Pune

Senior Java with SpringBatch 5+ Years Experience Location: Vadodara (Client office, Hybrid)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and SpringBatch to support CorePayment application modernization and regional deployment requirements. The individual will be responsible for developing scalable backend services, implementing application changes, and supporting migration and deployment activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based Spring Boot, Spring Batch, microservices.
• Develop RESTful APIs, backend integrations, and event-driven application components.
• Implement region-specific application changes and configuration requirements.
• Build and maintain Docker images and Kubernetes deployment configurations.
• Contribute to CI/CD automation, release readiness, and application deployments.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with Tech Leads, SDET engineers, DevOps teams, and other MDES stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and production issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with application security, coding standards, and engineering best practices. Mandatory Technical Skills
• 5–8 years of Java backend development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and Docker, including deployment and troubleshooting of containerized Java applications.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, HTTP, and microservices communication patterns.
• Experience with Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and relational databases.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins or equivalent tools.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, integration testing, and debugging.
• Understanding of distributed application architecture, logging, monitoring, and exception handling. Preferred Skills
• Payments or banking domain experience.
• Kafka or equivalent messaging platforms.
• Helm charts and cloud-native deployment tooling.
• Experience supporting production systems and regional application deployments.
