Summary
Backend Java developer (3+ years) building scalable services for insurance-sector clients using Spring Boot, REST/SOAP web services, Kafka or RabbitMQ, Redis, Docker, PL/SQL, and an API gateway like KrakenD, across the full development lifecycle.
We are looking for a Java Developer with 3+ years of professional experience to join our project developed for leading clients in the insurance sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Programming, or any related field,
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development,
- Solid experience with Spring Boot and developing scalable backend applications,
- Experience with RESTful and/or SOAP-based web services,
- Hands-on experience with pub/sub messaging systems such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ,
- Experience with Docker and Docker Compose,
- Practical experience using Redis in software projects,
- Working knowledge of PL/SQL,
- Experience with KrakenD or a similar metadata-managed API Gateway,
- Ability to analyze requirements, develop solutions, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle,
- Experience with writing clean, maintainable, and testable code,
- Good understanding of software development principles and backend application architecture,
- Preferably experience in the insurance sector,
- Having completed military service or postponed it for at least the next 2 years.
