Tasks
- Developing the following: Standalone Java application, CI/CD tools, Bioinformatics tools, Data visualization, Performance critical algorithms
- Ownership of specific software components and managing their life cycle.
- Supporting the development team in algorithm research and development
- Adhere to quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Expectations
- Secondary education
- At least 5 years of Java development experience
- Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code
- Agile mindset
- Experience with Spring Boot and SQL
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
Advantages
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field
- Knowledge of genetics or biology
- Familiarity with NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) analysis software
