Java Developer
Summary
The Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications while optimizing database queries and supporting cloud deployments. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and utilizing technologies such as Spring, PostgreSQL, AWS/GCP, and Jenkins.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based applications.
- Design, develop, and optimize application features based on business requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Develop and optimize database queries using PostgreSQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Support application deployment and maintenance in cloud environments (GCP/AWS) using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Create and maintain technical documentation as needed. Ensure application performance, security, and reliability.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience. Proficient in Java programming (mandatory).
- Experience with PostgreSQL (preferred). Experience with the Java Spring Framework (preferred).
- Experience in cloud-based application development and deployment (GCP/AWS, Jenkins) is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (preferred).
- Candidates based in Jakarta are highly preferred.
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
