Summary
A Java Developer building and maintaining secure, reusable Java/JVM code from user stories at a market-leading financial services firm in Nottingham, working in Scrum/Nexus teams with automated testing. Requires strong Java and cloud-native knowledge, Git or SVN, and CI/CD experience (Jenkins or Bamboo); pays up to £75,000 per annum.
Chapman Tate Associates are working in partnership with a market leading organisation within the Financial Services industry to recruit a Java Developer based in Nottingham.
Responsibilities
- You'll build and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable and secure code based on User Stories.
- Engaging with product owners, architects and other specialists you'll design world-class solutions to address our customer needs.
- Demonstrating a consistent focus on quality, you'll ensure that your team delivers reliable, robust software through the creation and execution of automated tests.
- Actively participating in Scrum and Nexus meetings, you'll give timely status updates on areas for which you are responsible.
Experience Required
- E xcellent knowledge of the Java language and the JVM itself, including solid understanding of Java cloud native.
- Experience with build tools, such as Eclipse or IntelliJ and code management tools such as Git or SVN.
- Good understanding of CI / CD with experience using Jenkins or Bamboo
- Previous experience or similar role as a Java Developer
This Java Developer role is based in Nottingham on a permanent basis, offering a package up to £75,000 per annum including additional perks and benefits.
