Senior Java Backend Developer | Amsterdam area | 36 hrs/week
I’m currently looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer for a major organisation in the Amsterdam area, working on mission-critical digital platforms within a complex and highly dynamic environment.
You’ll be part of a team developing and supporting backend services that handle critical information flows across logistics, import/export and customs processes.
What you’ll be working with:
- Git & SQL
- Jira
- Kafka & Splunk are a plus
- DevOps & Agile ways of working
Profile:
- 7+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer
- Experience with Spring Boot, Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- A proactive, hands‑on “get things done” mentality
- Comfortable taking end-to-end ownership of technical challenges
- Amsterdam area
- 36 hrs/week
- Monday & Thursday are the preferred office days
- Dutch CV required
