Java Developer

We are looking for a Java Developer to join our partner's team and contribute to the development and optimization of backend applications. The role focuses on building scalable and reliable services, developing APIs, and implementing efficient software solutions using modern Java technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using Java.

Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.

Build and maintain microservices and backend components.

Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.

Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

Identify and resolve technical issues, including application performance and optimization challenges.

Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.

Collaborate with architecture, QA, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Contribute to continuous improvements in application architecture and development processes.

Ensure code quality, reliability, and performance through automated testing and best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience in Java backend development.

Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software design principles.

Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.

Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.

Good knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.

Experience with JPA/Hibernate.

Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Experience with Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.

Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.

Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.

Good communication skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
