Java Developer - Databricks

Summary

This role involves developing and maintaining data-intensive applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Databricks. The developer will work with cloud-native technologies like AWS, Kafka, and Kubernetes to build scalable microservices.

Salary: £76,000 - 96,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Expert Java, including concurrency, multithreading, collections and OOP
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot, microservices and REST APIs
  • Experience with AWS, including Lambda
  • Experience with Kafka and distributed streaming
  • Experience with Databricks for data processing
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • 7+ years experience
  • Must already have the unrestricted right to work in the UK
  • Must be fully comfortable with a non-flexible 4-day onsite requirement
  • Spark/Flink, Python, CI/CD, Datadog or Prometheus experience is a strong advantage
