Summary
This role involves developing and maintaining data-intensive applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Databricks. The developer will work with cloud-native technologies like AWS, Kafka, and Kubernetes to build scalable microservices.
Salary: £76,000 - 96,000 per year
Requirements:- Expert Java, including concurrency, multithreading, collections and OOP
- Strong experience with Spring Boot, microservices and REST APIs
- Experience with AWS, including Lambda
- Experience with Kafka and distributed streaming
- Experience with Databricks for data processing
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- 7+ years experience
- Must already have the unrestricted right to work in the UK
- Must be fully comfortable with a non-flexible 4-day onsite requirement
- Spark/Flink, Python, CI/CD, Datadog or Prometheus experience is a strong advantage
- Build scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices
- Develop high-throughput streaming and data-distribution solutions
- Work with Kafka, AWS Lambda and Databricks
- Deliver cloud-native services using Docker and Kubernetes
