Bournemouth - 4 days onsite, every week
Up to £450/day | Inside IR35
Contract - 6 Months Extendable
7+ years' experience required
Important: This role has no sponsorship option. Applicants must already have the unrestricted right to work in the UK and be fully comfortable with the non-flexible 4-day onsite requirement.
What you'll be doing
* Building scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices
* Developing high-throughput streaming and data-distribution solutions
* Working with Kafka, AWS Lambda and Databricks
* Delivering cloud-native services using Docker and Kubernetes
* Collaborating across engineering, data and platform teams
Essential skills
* Expert Java: concurrency, multithreading, collections and OOP
* Spring Boot, microservices and REST APIs
* AWS, including Lambda
* Kafka and distributed streaming
* Databricks for data processing
* SQL and NoSQL databases
* Docker and Kubernetes
Spark/Flink, Python, CI/CD, Datadog or Prometheus experience is a strong advantage.
