Java Developer - Enterprise Applications

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Java-based applications and backend services.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following established coding standards and best practices.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration between different system components.
• Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the software.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues reported by QA or end-users.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, including experience with frameworks like Spring or Jakarta EE (formerly Java EE).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server) and SQL query optimization.
• Familiarity with build tools (Maven, Gradle) and version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
