Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and optimise batch processing pipelines using Spring Batch for high-volume data workloads.
- Contribute to the migration and modernisation of legacy platform components onto microservices architecture.
- Deploy, scale and manage services on Kubernetes.
- Work closely with architects and platform engineers to define data management patterns and service boundaries.
- Write clean, well-tested code and participate actively in code reviews and design discussions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support platform stability during migration phases.
Must-Have Skills
- Java (strong core and object-oriented design)
- Microservices architecture and design patterns
Good to Have
- Front-end experience with React or Angular
- Exposure to legacy platform modernisation or data migration projects
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (Docker)
- Familiarity with relational or distributed data stores
