One of Australia’s leading Federal Government agencies is looking to engage 3 experienced Java Developer / Full-Stack Engineers to design, develop and support mission-critical enterprise applications and large-scale data platforms. The successful Senior Java Developer / Full-Stack Engineers will be offered an initial 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options, based in Canberra.
The successful Senior Java Developer / Full-Stack Engineers will work within a highly skilled technical team, delivering secure and scalable solutions across Java, Spring Boot, Azure, microservices and distributed data platforms while providing hands-on technical leadership.
The successful Senior Java Developer / Full-Stack Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Design and develop enterprise Java applications.
Build APIs, microservices and distributed solutions.
Develop and support large-scale data platforms.
Troubleshoot and optimise production systems.
Lead technical design and engineering activities.
The successful Senior Java Developer / Full-Stack Engineers will have experience in the following:
Java development experience.
Spring and Spring Boot experience.
Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
Experience with Kafka, NiFi or Elasticsearch.
Azure and cloud-native development experience will be highly regarded.
Experience with React, TypeScript, Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform or Ansible will also be highly regarded.
