Job Summary
Global Payments is seeking a Java Developer to join our Java and Oracle Applications team within eService. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and optimizing business applications in an Agile environment while supporting system integration and ensuring software quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize business applications and application architecture.
- Design and propose technical and architectural solutions within an Agile team.
- Support system integration, stabilization, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure software quality, compliance with standards, and participate in testing.
- Contribute to release planning, effort estimation, and application environment management.
Qualifications
- Java (minimum version 9, preferably 17) and Spring/J2EE.
- SQL/PL/SQL and microservice architecture.
- Understanding of UML, design patterns, and software architecture best practices.
- Proficiency with Git, code documentation, and software development/testing methodologies.
- English and Polish (B2) proficiency.
