Java Developer (Hybrid Working Arrangement)
Summary
Java back-end developer working across the full SDLC—analysing, building, testing, and supporting applications—using Java 17+, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservices on cloud platforms for an IT services provider.
An established information technology services and solutions provider specializing in software development and IT operations support. Having 30 years of experience serving clients in the following industries: insurance, banking, telecommunications, aviation, construction, and government institutions.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis to deployment and support.
- Analyse, develop, test, debug, and implement software applications to meet business requirements.
- Provide post-implementation application support, maintenance, and issue resolution.
- Troubleshoot, optimise, and enhance existing applications to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of project milestones and assigned tasks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in back-end application development.
- Must have experience in: Java 17 and above, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices and Cloud (Azure / AWS / GCP).
The salary for this position is up to RM 10,000.
