- Design and develop Java applications and libraries
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug Java applications to ensure smooth performance
- Conduct unit testing to ensure code quality and application stability
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and reusability
- Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Java development
- Participate in Agile development and follow software development best practices
- Pair with other team members to ensure high-quality outcomes
Требования:
- Experience in Java server-side software development
- Expertise in Java technologies
- Solid Core Java programming experience with a minimum of Java 17
- General knowledge of dependency injection and inversion of control
- Experience using messaging technologies
- Familiarity with data structures such as sets, hashes, and caches
- Knowledge of concurrency, resiliency, caching, HTTP, and REST
- Understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
- Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Experience working with DevOps to deploy applications
- Experience with software maintenance, bug fixing, and enhancements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong exposure to standard financial interchange protocols such as FIX and ITCH
- Nice to have: Exposure to low-latency or high-performance systems, additional languages such as C, C++, Go, Rust, or C#, Front Office financial systems development, OMS/EMS/Exchange systems delivery, equities trading and brokerages, build tools and automation such as Gradle and GitHub Actions, cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
