Summary
Java Developer at Innovance Consultancy building banking-domain solutions in a hybrid model at a client's office in Turkey. Day-to-day work centers on Java backend development with Spring (Boot, Security, Session, Data), SQL/NoSQL databases, REST/SOAP/XML integrations, and IBM BAW workflow development.
We are looking for a hands-on Java Developer who loves programming, architecting solutions, and solving complex integration problems, to work in a hybrid model at our client’s office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s or PhD degree is a plus
- At least 4 years of hands-on Java development experience
- Experience in the banking domain
- Strong experience with the Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Session, and Spring Data
- Experience with Git and Maven
- Experience with unit testing frameworks
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, JPA, Hibernate, and PL/SQL
- Experience in RESTful API design, SOAP, and XML-based integrations
- Experience with BPM tools, particularly IBM BAW (Business Automation Workflow), including workflow design and process-driven development
- Experience working on international projects or in multinational environments is highly preferred
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a solid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
- Ability to communicate clearly with peers, Business Analysts, and Subject Matter Experts
- Ability to take ownership of tasks, meet deadlines, anticipate risks, and raise issues proactively
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with Microservices, Kubernetes, Spring Cloud, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Bitbucket, and Gradle
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as SonarQube and Jenkins
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
