Summary
Develops and maintains Java/Spring Boot microservices and Angular front ends for enterprise financial/investment systems, integrating via REST/SOAP, messaging (IBM MQ, AWS SQS), and Oracle/PostgreSQL/MongoDB, with CI/CD in Agile teams. Hired at intermediate (4-6 yrs) and senior (10+ yrs) levels in Centurion, South Africa.
The role requires expertise in Java and Spring technologies, front-end development using Angular, and the development of cloud-native, API-driven, and distributed systems. The successful candidate will leverage modern engineering practices, Agile methodologies, and AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and solution delivery.
Experience, Knowledge and Qualification:
- Relevant IT Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience within financial services is advantageous
- Investment industry experience will be highly advantageous
Intermediate Experience Level:
- 4-6 years of software development experience
