Job Description:
As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining robust software solutions within collaborative and high-performing development teams.
Depending on the opportunity, responsibilities may include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications
- Building scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Collaborating with Product, QA, DevOps, and Software Engineering teams
- Writing clean, maintainable, and high-quality code
- Participating in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
- Contributing to code reviews and engineering best practices
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical challenges
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and modern development practices
Skills & Experience:
- Commercial experience in Java development
- Strong knowledge of Java and Spring / Spring Boot
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP advantageous
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience working within collaborative development teams
- Passion for software engineering and continuous learning
Qualification:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
