Java Developer (J2EE, Springboot, Full Stack)

Salary: ฿50,000 – ฿75,000 per month

About the role

We are seeking a talented Java Developer (J2EE, Springboot, Full Stack) to join CyberNet on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative technology solutions in Bangkok, contributing to the development and maintenance of robust enterprise-level applications. As a Full Stack Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications using modern Java frameworks and technologies. This position offers the flexibility of contract work whilst providing meaningful engagement with cutting-edge development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full stack applications using Java J2EE, Spring Boot, and related technologies

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services that are scalable and performant

• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions

• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and maintenance

• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical improvements to enhance system reliability and scalability

• Work with databases and implement data access layers using ORM frameworks

• Develop front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks and technologies

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working with Java J2EE, Struts and Spring Boot frameworks in production environments

• Work with relational databases such as Oracle

• Strong proficiency in developing RESTful web services and APIs

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns

• Experienced in Oracle ADF framework will be advantage.

• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)

• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL, with experience using ORM frameworks such as Hibernate or JPA

• Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git

• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle

• Understanding of software testing methodologies and experience writing unit tests

• Familiarity with agile development practices and methodologies

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines

• Preferred: Knowledge of microservices architecture and related patterns
