Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Java Developer / Technical Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot, along with the ability to lead a development team, drive technical decisions, and own project delivery. The candidate should be interested in growing towards a Technical Manager / Engineering Manager role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor developers while remaining hands-on with Java development.
• Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Drive system architecture, technical decisions, code reviews, and development standards.
• Handle complex technical challenges, production issues, and escalations.
• Own team deliverables, technical planning, priorities, and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and global stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of strong software development experience.
• Expert knowledge of Core Java, Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Strong experience in Microservices, System Design, and Application Architecture.
• Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Couchbase/MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud platforms is preferred.
• Strong technical leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Previous experience handling teams, technical planning, and delivery ownership.

Preferred: POS/Retail/Payment domain experience, distributed systems, and global team exposure.
