Java Developer

A hands-on developer in the CTO Office innovation team, building prototypes and production-grade services on a modern reactive Java stack, including real-time video and media features, across Lentra's lending products.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop reactive, event-driven applications using Java, Spring Boot, WebFlux, and Project Reactor.
• Build scalable microservices, RESTful and SOAP APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Implement non-blocking I/O, back-pressure, and performance optimisation strategies.
• Develop real-time communication and media streaming solutions using WebRTC, TURN, and FFmpeg.
• Integrate messaging and data systems using Kafka, MongoDB, Redis, and PostgreSQL.
• Implement secure authentication, secrets management, and secure coding practices using HashiCorp Vault.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot real-time issues, and conduct root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies, code reviews, and technical documentation.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate lending and financial technology platforms with external service providers.

• Programming Languages: Java, Python, Node.js, Go (Golang), Rust, and TypeScript.
