Summary
Java developer (5+ years) on the Contact Billing program, building a new collection platform centered on Guidewire Billing Center. Day to day: designing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting Java REST services in Agile, collaborating with QA and business analysts in Montréal.
Stimulating challenges within the framework of the Contact Billing program, which aims to deploy a collection system across all companies/provinces.
We are looking for a Java developer to help us implement new collection platform, centered on Guidewire Billing Center.
What you will do:
- Improve and/or develop features to meet user needs by designing solutions, resolving problems, producing estimates for the work to be completed, programming, testing, debugging, and documenting them.
- Develop Java applications and services in an Agile mode.
- Be involved in the developer community, participate in continuous improvement, and promote best practices.
- Work collaboratively with QA and business analysts.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or any other combination of experience and related training deemed relevant.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java/REST API development.
- A committed, open-minded, autonomous team player who is driven by success.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good organization and ability to synthesize.
