Java Developer
Summary
Build and maintain Java-based banking applications using SQL databases and reporting tools, ensuring system reliability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage design, development and implementation of programs
- Review and revise technical designs to meet program requirements.
- Conduct defect analysis and perform necessary fixes and enhancements on developed programs
- Collaborate with system owners, architects and other personnel to develop dynamic and flexibl systems to meet the emerging demands of the market.
- Assist in unit testing of developed programs.
- Review program codes and correct program errors.
- Maintain and update existing program codes as needed.
- Develop technical specification and timeline estimations for assigned project.
- Work in compliance with the programming and documentation standards.
- Ensure project completion within the allotted timelines and budget.
- Troubleshoot production problems in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or any relevant field.
- At least 3-years experience in handling application development and support holding an application developer role.
Technical Stack
- MS SQL, MySQL
- Reporting tool (Jasper/iReport)
