Our client are a global consultancy looking for a Java Developer focusing on distributed systems and real-time data to join one of their projects in the banking space.
Key Skills:
- Java & Distributed Systems – Strong experience with Java 21, Spring Boot, Flowable, JPA/iBatis, microservices, and building scalable, reliable systems.
- Real-Time Data & Cloud – Hands-on experience with Kafka, Apache Flink, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Azure, including high-volume, low-latency data processing.
- Security & Software Delivery – Knowledge of OAuth/Azure AD, CI/CD, automated testing, CQRS/Event Sourcing, and using GitHub Copilot/LLMs to support software development.
- This position will be paying up to £500-600 per day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)
- 3 days per week onsite in Central London office
- Initial contract is 1 year long with high likelihood for extension
- Must have the right to work in the UK without needing visa sponsorship
