Summary
Builds and maintains secure Java-based microservices and APIs using Spring Boot, React, and Node.js, following Agile practices in a fintech environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Holder
At least 3 years of experience in Java Development (version 8+)
MUST have experience in React, Nodejs and Spring Boot
Other Technical Skills: Java Foundation/Core, Restful Microservices/REST APIs, JPA, Hibernate, Relational Database, SQLs, Maven, Git, Software Development Life Cyle (SDLC), Waterfall, Agile, Meaningful tests written in JUnit, API testing using Postman, direct curls, Swagger, API documentation using Javadocs, Open Api, Swagger, Debugging Java programs, Writing/Reading Technical Documentations
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and maintain secure APIs and Database Tables following software development best practices
Collaborate with Development Lead and other Engineers to design efficient and re- usable Microservices
Participate with the team on Scrum Events
Demonstrate in writing robust and reusable codes adhering to software bestpractices and design patterns
Develop API test for back-end services passing code coverage standards Test quality of output before hand over to SIT and UAT
Problem solving with stakeholdersto come up with best approach
Collaborate in development of bank standards as appropriate
Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time
