Andersen is hiring a Java Developer (Spring) for a project developing scalable microservices-based platforms and high-load digital services in the financial domain. The company is a large international financial services organization that provides a wide range of banking and digital financial solutions for private clients, businesses, and corporate customers. It focuses on reliable customer service, long-term financial stability, innovation, and the development of modern products that support everyday banking, business growth, and efficient financial management. The project is focused on developing and evolving a modern digital platform built on a microservices architecture. It supports high-traffic online services and advanced search capabilities, with a strong emphasis on scalability, cloud-native technologies, performance optimization, and continuous architectural improvement. Responsibilities: Designing and implementing complex backend components for the microservice-based platform. Making architectural decisions and helping define technology direction together with the team. Designing REST and event-driven APIs, asynchronous communication via Kafka. Designing and performance-tuning PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch solutions for high-traffic real estate search. Developing services running on Azure cloud infrastructure with operational considerations in mind. Conducting code reviews, establish and maintain development standards. Mentoring mid-level and junior colleagues, supporting knowledge sharing. Working closely with Product, Frontend, and DevOps teams. Reducing technical debt, identifying and implementing refactoring directions. Must-haves: Experience in Java backend development for 6 years.
