Job Overview
An immediate hiring opportunity is available for an experienced Java Developer in Qatar. The position is intended exclusively for Qatar locals and requires a minimum of five years of professional experience in Java development, backend engineering, and enterprise application development.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Core Java, Java 8/11, Spring Boot, microservices, Hibernate, REST APIs, and web services. Experience designing secure, scalable backend systems, optimizing database performance, and deploying production-grade services using cloud platforms and modern DevOps technologies is also required.
Knowledge of AI model integration, large language model frameworks, and Python-based backend frameworks will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and deploy production-grade REST APIs and microservices.
- Design secure and scalable APIs, including HTTP methods, request and response structures, and API security.
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Perform database schema design and query optimization.
- Deploy backend services on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Use Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to support deployment and delivery.
- Collaborate within an Agile software development environment.
- Support the reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability of backend applications.
Required Qualifications and Technical Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of professional Java development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Java 8/11 and Core Java.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Experience with Hibernate, REST APIs, and web services.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Experience developing secure, scalable backend services.
