We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a leading organization in the financial services and insurance industry. This opportunity is ideal for developers who enjoy building enterprise applications, developing backend services, and delivering high-quality software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The role is primarily focused on Java backend development, with opportunities to contribute to frontend enhancements depending on project requirements.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
Analyze business requirements and develop application modules based on functional specifications.
Perform unit testing, defect resolution, and application enhancements.
Support system deployments, production issues, and application maintenance.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.
Contribute to frontend enhancements using Angular or React when required.
Qualifications
At least 3-4 years of experience in Java application development.
Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Experience supporting enterprise applications throughout the development lifecycle.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience with Angular or React is an advantage.
Background in banking, insurance, fintech, or enterprise applications is preferred.
