Java Developer (Springboot)
Summary
Build and maintain backend applications and microservices using Java and Spring Boot, developing RESTful APIs, integrating with databases and external systems, and ensuring application security.
Job Description:
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications and enterprise services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop scalable RESTful APIs and microservices supporting business and enterprise application requirements.
- Integrate backend services with databases, external systems, messaging platforms, APIs, and third-party services.
- Implement application security, authentication, authorization, validation, logging, error handling, and secure coding practices.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, performance optimization, and defect resolution.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and solution implementation activities.
- Support application deployment, production troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis.
- Prepare technical documentation, API specifications, deployment documentation, and other required SDLC artifacts.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of professional software development experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, and software development best practices.
- Knowledge of application security, authentication/authorization, API security, and secure coding practices.
- Experience with messaging platforms, Docker/Kubernetes, cloud platforms, or API gateways is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
