We are looking for an experienced
Java Developer
with strong expertise in
Java application development within the banking/financial services domain . The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise-grade applications and microservices while working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and technology teams. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with
Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL, and distributed systems , along with a good understanding of banking products, payment systems, or core banking applications.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance
Java-based applications
for banking systems. Develop and enhance
microservices and RESTful APIs
using Java and Spring Boot. Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions. Participate in the complete SDLC, including
requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support . Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders. Develop secure and reliable applications in accordance with banking and enterprise technology standards. Troubleshoot complex application, performance, integration, and production issues. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Support application modernization, migration, and integration initiatives. Work with relational databases and develop efficient
SQL queries, stored procedures, and database integrations . Contribute to technical design discussions and provide recommendations on application architecture and performance improvements. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer within the team. Ensure compliance with security, audit, risk, and regulatory requirements applicable to banking applications.
