Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade Java microservices applications (Spring Boot/Cloud) for fintech, e-commerce, and financial domains, including loan management and banking systems.

The Neo Solutions is seeking an experienced and visionary Java Developer, lead the design, development, and scaling of enterprise-grade applications across Fintech, E-Commerce, and financial domains. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in Java, microservices, and cloud-native development.

This role demands technical leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, secure, and scalable software products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, and implementation of complex, distributed, and scalable systems.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into robust architecture and detailed design documents.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and modular code (backend and frontend).
  • Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices across projects.
  • Evaluate and recommend modern technologies, frameworks, and tools aligned with evolving software trends.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Product teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery cycles.
  • Conduct code and architecture reviews, providing mentorship and technical guidance to development teams.
  • Ensure system security, scalability, performance, and reliability across environments.
  • Drive modernization initiatives such as migrating monolithic systems to microservices and transitioning on-premise solutions to cloud-native architectures.
  • Work on Loan Management Systems (LMS), digital lending, and other banking and financial applications to enhance and scale core products.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory compliance requirements, and best practices in Fintech and enterprise system design.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
  • Proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
  • Expertise in Microservice Architecture, Event-Driven Systems, and API-first design.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and asynchronous messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Experience working with Loan Management Systems (LMS), Banking, or Financial Applications.
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies such as ReactJS, Angular, TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks.
  • Experience in Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Deep understanding of security protocols, authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT), and compliance standards (PCI-DSS, SAMA).
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, and Event Sourcing.
  • Exposure to serverless architectures, GraphQL, or Reactive Java frameworks.
  • Experience leading teams in Agile / Scrum environments.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or active involvement in Java developer communities.
