Summary
Leads a team of Java developers to design, build, and maintain Spring Boot/Java EE applications with REST APIs, databases, and security best practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead a Team of Java Developers
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Java EE.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Participate in software development life cycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.
- Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL for data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Stay up to date with latest Java technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Java Developer with at least 4 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP principles, and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
- Familiarity with Microservices Architecture.
- Experience with database management.
- Proficiency in version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, SVN).
- Experience in unit testing (JUnit, Mockito, TestNG).
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
